he really is. he has such a hard-on for the springsteen family. i also love when they talk about how he promotes his equitation business by blabbing about all the Americans who were in the eq. he never mentions that in order to step up in the GPs they go to Europe and learn the European system.

i almost feel bad for jimmy b/c he so badly wants to be in the GPs and not announcing but I don't. he can keep sucking up to rich families too and try to get a horse the old-fashioned way.

The argument can be made that after the 1984 Olympic Games the "European style" gravitated toward the American style which Bert de Nemethy, among others, advanced.
Also worth noting and as a result of the move closer to the American style the infusion of more blood in horses bred for show jumping.
It's mostly the newbies who hold the misguided notion that, generally speaking, the Europeans are superior. The fact is those at the top of the tree, American or European, all have similar methods.

That must be why the world number 1 and number 3 aren't Americans

dummies, argue the merits of the two systems on your own time. if you want to argue that young Americans are not training with Europeans, or Frank isn't advertising his lucrative business teaching juniors then have at it. stay on topic.

if you want to argue you're right solely based on FEI rankings, then I can circle back when it changes up and the Europeans are back in the top 3. we can take turns being right...b/c that's fun.

you sound like hunter riders.

Frank rides a bicycle everywhere on the show grounds. I spent Friday following behind on foot, thanks for the post.
